The Flyte is the latest development of Moulton’s ‘unique and universal’ bicycle. The ancestry of the Flyte can be traced right back to the Arrow and Y-frame bikes of the 70s including Alex Moulton’s own Y-frame bike.
The Moulton Flyte has essential Moulton features - small wheels and full suspension for comfort and road-holding, stiff open frame for unisex use and a range of luggage options.

Frame: Moulton Y-frame design, fillet-brazed construction in Columbus Spirit and Reynolds CrMo steels. Rear fork in Columbus, front fork in Reynolds 853. Unified rear fork with triple-crankset/compact clearance. Adjustable brake bridges (patent pending) - fit either short- or long-reach caliper brakes. Vertical dropouts for derailleur gear in stainless steel - with ‘cruciform’ stiffness plates. Round-tapered chainstays to reduce weight and improve aesthetics. Lighter rear fork upright tube with dual-adjustment front derailleur mount. Chainstay ‘X-brace’ reinforcement, with adjustable mudguard mount. Rear disc brake on Alfine variant, with (patent pending) curved dropout path to keep the brake caliper centred on the disc rotor.
Fork: Front fork and front stirrup dropouts in stainless steel.
Front Suspension: Moulton leading-link front suspension (with soft rebound stops, hex key adjustment).
Rear Suspension: Moulton rubber-cone ‘Monosphere’ rear suspension, oversized rear pivot bearing. Oversized rear fork pivot bearings - bearing surface increased by 150%.
